Book Donation at Don Bosco Technical High School, Monrovia

The students in Liberia are currently out of School due to the current Ebola outbreak. They are now out of school for the past six months. The new academic year which was to begin on 1 September 2014 never happened. They are eager to return to the school and continue their education but it has not been possible because of the government order prohibiting all school activities for now.

However, Don Bosco Technical High School took the initiative of reaching out to the kids by donating books to all its students so that they have something to work with at home. It was also an opportunity for the school to convey to the students and parents that the school has not forgotten or abandoned them but is eagerly awaiting their return to the school.

The donation was made possible due to the support of Salesian Missions, New Rochelle, NY. These books have been gifted by Salesian Missions at various times to the School. We are grateful to all the donors and partners for the support in the fight against Ebola.
